Look Good Tools uses strictly necessary cookies only. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner.

What we use
- Sign-in and checkout. When you sign in to your account, or pay through Stripe, a cookie or similar storage keeps you signed in and keeps the payment secure. These are strictly necessary for the service you asked for, so they do not need your consent.
- Using a tool without an account. If you make a chart or deck before signing in, a cookie remembers that it is yours, so you can come back to it and keep it when you sign up. It lasts up to 30 days for charts and 7 days for decks.
- Nothing on this public site. The pages you are reading set no cookies of their own.
The sign-in cookies are __Host-lgt_session (keeps you signed in, up to 30 days), the matching session cookie in Chartsmade and Decksmade, and a short sign-in cookie that lasts 10 minutes. The no-account cookies are __Host-cm_anon (Chartsmade) and dm_anon (Decksmade).
Anonymous statistics
We count page views and reading depth on lookgoodtools.com, chartsmade.com and decksmade.com, without cookies. A random ID is kept in your browser's session storage until you close the tab. We do not store your IP address or user agent. It switches itself off if your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track.
You can also turn them off here, or with the switch at the foot of the Chartsmade home page or of any Decksmade page. One choice covers all three sites: browsers keep the setting separately for each site, so your browser briefly visits the other two to save it, then comes back.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the necessary ones, signing in and paying will not work.
